even though it was pouring rain and freezing cold oliver and mark made our stay at poas one of the best nights in costa rica! they had hot coffee and blankets for us, and made us an *** dinner(the steak is outstanding!). kudos and cheers to the poas lodge!

After several days and night in the jungle near Corcovado the fresh cool air, soft sheets, hot shower and wonderful meal were wonderful. Really appreciated the great value we got there.

While visiting Costa Rica with a university group, Poas Lodge was one of our three stays. Because of the hosts, beautiful view, clean rooms, and *** food, this was definitely ranked #1. Thanks Mark and Oliver for making our stay so ***.

We had a group of 16 students and professors that stayed 2 nights here. It was great. Great food, service and friendship. It has my highest rating.

We only got to stay one night, but wish we would have stayed for more. The views were *** and it was the best nights sleep we had the whole trip. Can't wait to visit again!

What a fabulous place to stay! The views from our room and the restaurant are amazing. The bedding felt so luxurious and the towels were so fluffy. Enjoyed the hot shower immensely. Cant beat the hot coffee in the morning and the proximity to the park! Wonderful and friendly hosts. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay here. Super friendly hosts combined with fabulous food and the best cups of tea in Central America! The duvets were so white and soft. We had a great night’s sleep too. Thanks guys

As the number of days now smaller, as friends laugh, eat and sing , we’re sitting here at the top of the mountain, wondering what is this beautiful thing. This thing we’ve found made from nothing more than air. Too bad it doesn’t last forever. Unless one of us does so dare.
